So much for originality?

A friend and I are keeping a running tally of every article we see in the Washington Post that, well, illustrates their "changing standards."

Here's another example: WaPo rips off the "Most-Read" New York Times article about private schools accepting more students to raise money.

Well, actually, their spin is sort of different. Washington Post depicts the increased number acceptances as compensation for the fact that fewer students will attend. New York Times depicts the phenomena (privileging wealthy students) as a calculated dash for cash.

Delightful. Glad to know I'll be deluged by more charming undergraduates next year.
